Barrington, IL Bathroom Remodel Before Photos
Barrington, IL Walk-In Shower Bathroom Remodel we finished in 2020. The homeowner wanted to remove the clawfoot tub in favor of a walk in shower. In the before photos, we show the old clawfoot tub, the scuffed linoleum flooring, and the old fixtures. In addition, there is a photo of the plumbing under the tub. Having access to the plumbing makes it easier to widen the drain, which is typically needed for a walk-in shower bathroom remodel.
After Photos
We used an acrylic pan and surround for the shower base. Acrylic is a highly durable, scratch and said resistant material that is 1000% better than fiberglass one piece surrounds. Additionally, we installed a grab bar at the client’s request, as well as shelving for storage. The sink, toilet and flooring was replace with more modern and durable options. We took care to cut around the floor register, and seal around the tub window.
