These Carol Stream, IL clients were looking to update their kitchen. They wanted to remove the dark granite countertop and drop in sink for something more modern. In addition, they wanted the kitchen to be bright and crisp.
We are thrilled with the results! We love the grey base cabinets and white wall cabinets. The clients choose to stick with a shaker style cabinet to maintain the clean edges, while the crown moulding draws the eye to the ceiling. They decided to add a kitchen island for additional cabinet space. The island also doubles as a breakfast bar! We added more cabinets where a standing storage unit used to sit. Now they have even more usable cabinet space, as well as a pantry. The finishing touch was removing the old laminate flooring in favor of tile. The whole kitchen looks fresh and polished now!
