Des Plaines, IL small bathroom remodel completed in 2022. This homeowner had a classic Chicago Blue tub in his hall tub he wanted to update. We replace the shower with a 4-piece acrylic system. We updated all the plumbing, replace the flooring, vanity and sink.

The finished bathroom features an acrylic tub system. The wall panels are ideal because there is no grout, meaning they will last longer. The acrylic tub also retains heat better than porcelain or cast iron tubs. The floor is luxury vinyl plank which was installed on top of the existing floor. This is a common practice with flooring like this as a lot of the time the old flooring was cemented down, making it very hard to remove. The homeowner chose a more modern square pedestal sink and a chair height toilet.
